Manager, Worldwide Tax Planning & Compliance

A leader in Business Intelligence with revenues upwards of 200MIL seeks a Manager, Worldwide Tax Planning & Compliance to join their force. This company is rock solid and has international presence.

Required skills/experience:


? 7+ years of tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or similar experience in a large, multi-national corporation subject to SEC reporting requirements. Experience working with multi-national software companies is preferred.

? CPA required; Masters in Tax preferred.

? Experience in researching complex domestic and international tax issues and drafting research memos.

? Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to work effectively and communicate with internal and external personnel. Must be able to effectively manage a staff of 3 and 3rd party advisors while working on multiple concurrent projects. Must be able to proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure deadlines and objectives are met. Must be able to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax personnel.

? Must be detail oriented, creative, possess strong problem solving skills, and be able to develop a comprehensive understanding of tax issues. Must ensure that work performed by staff is timely and accurate.

? Experience in preparing Federal, state, and local returns, global transfer pricing studies, supporting and documenting tax audit positions, negotiating ongoing tax audit issues with tax authorities, and monitoring local country income tax planning and compliance, withholding tax and VAT issues.

? Computer skills: Microsoft Office products, knowledge of ERP accounting systems (JDEdwards), experience with tax preparation software and tax research services
