JOB SUMMARY
Manages the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial
analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements
with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. Prepares payroll
and administers the employee benefits function. The position involves
supervision over the accounts payable and the billing functions.

DUTIES:

? Maintain the agency?s system of accounts, books and records on all agency
transactions and assets, and conduct general ledger analysis
? Prepare deposits, apply payments to customer balances and perform the
general banking functions. Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
? Produce and submit bi-weekly payroll to ADP and make related accounting
entries.
? Maintain all payroll records and manage employee benefits
? Prepare and monitor cash flow projections; develop and monitor a petty
cash and travel expense/reimbursement system
? Furnish internal reports; revise and update reports to be more useful and
efficient, and furnish external reports as necessary
? Prepare reports for short range and long-range cash requirements and
obligations
? Perform special projects as needed


REQUIREMENTS:
? A hands on, versatile and motivated individual with sound administrative,
communications and interpersonal skills
? An individual who enjoys photography and the arts
? Minimum of B.S. degree in Accounting
? A minimum of five (5) years experience ideally gained through increasingly
responsible positions within Finance
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. MAS 90 experience a
plus
? Accounting experience in the book or magazine publishing industry a plus
