Manager of Cash Management

This position is responsible for all cash management and related activities of ShopKo, which includes managing all corporate and store banking relationships, armored courier relationships, and merchant processor relationships, maintaining the Weekly and Daily Forecast; Reconciling the Cash Forecast to the company?s P&L reports, expense control regarding bank fees, merchant processor services, revolver interest expenses, armored courier and ATM services, and Cash Management G&A; manage budget preparation, review monthly budget to actual analysis and reforecasts.  .  Identify and lead projects that will improve workflow, reduce expense, and enhance cash flow and improve customer service.  Assist the Treasurer or CFO and the legal department to negotiate terms of credit arrangements.  Responsible for department policies, strong systems of internal controls,, and review of procedure manuals.

 

Qualified candidates will posses a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and large corporate cash management experience required along with strong accounting skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

MBA and retail experience preferred.
