Masimo currently have  two open  positions in the Finance Department. 

 

 

 

Manager of Revenue and Contracts

 

The Manager, Accounting will be responsible for the Company?s revenue and contract accounting.  This position will also have responsibility for other related accounting and reporting.  This position will also develop internal policies & procedure and engage in special projects, as needed.  This position will interact internally with the Company?s Sales and Legal departments.  This position will also interact with the Company?s external auditors, outside specialists as well as upper management.  This position reports directly to the Vice President, Finance. 

 

Job Responsibilities: Evaluate, record and account for all aspects of the Company?s revenue, including contracts.Monitor and report contract performance and maintain accruals pursuant to contract terms and conditions.Maintain information systems to track contract performance.Participate in annual audit and quarterly reviews with the Company?s outside auditors.Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures and internal controls as it relates to the Company?s compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.Develop procedures in response to new accounting pronouncements and guidance by the SEC.Manage and develop staff.Assist CFO and Vice President, Finance in special projects as necessary.

 

QualificationsBachelor?s degree in Accounting or related major; advanced degree a plus.CPA with a major public accounting firm is required.Minimum of 6+ years directly related experience including strong revenue recognition experience.Background in high tech manufacturing desired.Strong technical accounting and research skills.Experience with implementation of procedures and controls as it relates to Sarbanes-Oxley.Detail oriented, ability to multi-task.Excellent written and verbal communication.Pro-active and independent.

 

 

 

Manager of SOX Compliance

The Manager will mainly be responsible for the Company?s compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.  This position will also participate in quarterly SEC filings.  This position will interact with the Company?s operations, IT and legal departments, as well as with external auditors.  This position reports directly to the Director of Reporting and Compliance. 

 

Job Responsibilities: Monitor, maintain and modify (as necessary) documentation of existing policies and processes.Oversee and assist with remediation of internal control deficiencies.Assist external auditors with quarterly and annual SOX testing.Assist with SEC reporting, 10K, 10Q and 8K filings, on quarterly and annual basis.Other special projects as necessary.

 

QualificationsBachelor?s degree in Accounting or related major.6-8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 2 years SOX experience Minimum of 2 years, maximum 4 years, recent SEC reporting experience.Detail oriented, ability to multi-task.Excellent written and verbal communication.Pro-active and independent.Excel and Word proficient.CPA, MBA and/or Med Tech experience, a plus, but not required.
