Marketing & Budget Planning Analyst

Job Duties:

Manage marketing plans and budgets and provide timely/regular reporting & analysis Manage vendors relationships and maintain marketing project and expense tracking systems Support personnel across assigned departments with IHS procurement and accounting procedures.   Prepare and process vendor quotes, purchase orders, check requests, expense reports, and departmental charge backs on behalf of eBusiness, Marcom, Parts & Solutions and others as needed.   Manage financial/contractual relationships with vendors, including paperwork and invoices for outsourced staff and staffing vendors. Provide analysis relative to marketing program/project budgets and expenses.  Track expenses relative to marketing programs using Marketing Project Tracking application.  Assist Finance with accrual based accounting processes, forecasting and budget reports.  Assist marketing personnel with planning/evaluation of program effectiveness; includes preparing estimates and measuring project/program results (revenue & contribution margins)

Required Education: BA or BS Degree or equivalent experience

 

Required Experience: 3 ? 5 years related experience.  Experience in sales & marketing planning processes; Strong analytical and financial skills and experience in a data-driven decision-making process.  Qualified candidates should be proficient in these software applications: Microsoft Excel (advanced), MS Word, MS Access.

 

Other skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; Must be goal-oriented, results-driven, committed and willing to do whatever it takes to meet objectives; Have the ability to effectively interact with vendors and employees at all levels to achieve results, and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
