Deloitte's M&A Tax Senior Managers have in-depth, first-hand experience in a wide range of industries. They must be familiar
with the tax consulting process and the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, development and implementation of clients' tax needs. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to concentrate efforts on a variety of international compliance, research, consulting and planning issues. This position involves advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations as well as coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy.? Senior Managers draft and assist in the delivery of proposals for engagements and are knowledgeable about the range of services offered by the firm. They provide leadership in timely and quality delivery of services to exceed the expectations of our clients.? Engagement Tax Senior Managers will have responsibility for engagement budgeting, billing, management and scheduling. They are also responsible for the development and motivation of engagement staff and
provide them with leadership, counseling and career guidance. They have proven, extensive technical expertise and have developed their reputation within their profession.

A Tax Senior Manager candidates must have:
??Seven or more years of general tax experience, preferably with at least 5 years focused on merger & Acquisition taxation. Experience with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company is required.
??Consulting and compliance experience is needed.
??Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communications skills required.
??Excellent project management and presentation skills required
??Prior supervisory experience required
??Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
??Advanced degree such as MST, JD or LLM preferred.?
??CPA preferred.
