We currently have an opening for a Metals Tracking Analyst. This position will be responsible for tracking all metals by RT# in the refining business unit from incoming material through all production and outside vendor processes until the delivery to storage. This position requires the ability to make all necessary entries by RT # in the tracking system and sub systems to reflect accurate inventory movements.  Ideal candidate will have a BA in Accounting with an analytical background.  SAP experience is helpful. Prefer 2 to 3 years of manufacturing/inventory management exp. 

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

? Maintains REPS and PARADOX production systems with timely and accurate data.

? Manages, day to day operation of the RC Precious Metals Tracking System including data collection, input and error finding.

? Works with the Production Manager and Supervisors to assure that the PMTS accurately reflects the production processes in use and that the production processes are performed in accordance with PMTS procedures.

? Analyzes the output of the PMTS system along with historical data and customer expectations on a timely basis. Recognizes the potential and actual production and/or laboratory issues and communicates these to appropriate department supervisor.

? Dispositions incoming material for the right process route (internal and external).

? Works with VP Material Management to select correct outside processors, prepares shipments and tracks results.

? Analyzes Precious Metals cycles in the entire factory with the purpose of reducing the Working Capital.  Makes improvement suggestions to responsible production managers and follows up on improvement plans.

? Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for RC production management evaluation.

? Reports to Senior Management metrics as demanded.

? Cross train with other staff members with-in the department.
