Mgr Financial Reporting

Unique opportunity exists to become an integral member of a real estate finance group. The position will be responsible for various parts of the internal and external reporting for the Company. The position will also be responsible for the compilation or review of supporting schedules for various accounts and other special projects. Primary responsibilities include: assist with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly internal reporting packages, assist with the completion of the consolidated and property level financial reports within the required due dates. Assist with the annual budget process. Account for the purchase/disposition of assets, bank refinancing, interest payments and other transactions recorded by the group. Review and conclude in the application of new accounting standards as they apply to the Company. Manage the various responsibilities and development of the staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will be a CPA with 5-8 years of experience with a combination of private and public in a top accounting firm. Real estate industry experience is a plus. The candidate will also have a strong US GAAP understanding, especially in the application and accounting for consolidation, cash flows, acquisitions, disposals, debt and equity accounting. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to present issues and solutions in a clear and concise manner. They must also be able to multi task and work well individually as well as in a group.
