Middle Office trade support, Fixed Income Desk

A prominent multi strategy hedge fund in Stamford, CT is looking for a Senior Fixed Income trade support analyst to join their expanding macro trading team. The Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible for providing trade capture, reconciling trade activity, and acting as a liaison to accounting, operation, risk management, trading and compliance. The candidate must be a motivated self starter comfortable working in a high-intensity trading atmosphere. The firm's management values a work / life balance. Specific Responsibilities: - Assisting the trading desk in the booking trades and setting up securities, as well as solving P&L issues for the desk. - Act as the Liaison between the desk, Prime Brokers, and the Fund Administrator. - Reconcile trades and position breaks. - Process corporate actions. - Monitor real - time pricing of all types of fixed income instruments.

Qualifications :
Position Requirements - Four plus years of middle office experience. - Strong working knowledge of fixed income strategies. - 4 year degree, minimum - GPA 3.0 - Knowledge of Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word & Access) - Detail-oriented, good communication skills.
