Mutual Fund Accounting Associate
Job Description: PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Investment Operations Associate is responsible for completing all transactional data for specified products to legally and accurately account for TRP customer assets.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains data of their products through record keeping, reporting, and reconciliation, meeting all customer or regulatory expectations and accurately accounting for TRP customer assets.
2. Reviews work of peers as part of a check and balance process to reduce business financial risk of not meeting all customer or regulatory expectations and not accurately accounting for TRP customer assets.
3. Participates in group activities to ensure optimization of productivity and reduction of any financial risk. Samples of these group activities are:
Documenting procedures
Group projects to create efficiencies and reduce control risks
QUALIFICATIONS:
* College degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent and a minimum of one year related work experience
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Concentration in business, finance, or accounting preferred
