Fund Accountant:

Supervisor, Fund Accounting:

 

Serves as the ?product manager? for an assigned group of mutual fund clients (average of three to four client relationships). Oversees the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all daily operations for approximately 15 mutual funds through the supervision, training and developing of a group of mutual fund accountants. Reviews daily pricing reports, NAV calculations, yields, and distributions. Works closely with each Fund Accountant within their group to keep informed of all fund activities.  Reviews daily pricing reports and financials, as well as monthly and fiscal year end reporting packages.  Position requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business in addition to proven knowledge of the mutual fund industry with mutual fund accounting/financial reporting experience or commensurate experience in public accounting serving financial services industry clients. Financial Reporting Accountant

 

Prepares semi-annual and annual mutual fund financial statements and form N-SAR filings with the SEC. Assists the manager in coordinating audits of annual financial statements with independent public accountants. Supervisor, Financial Reporting Accounting

 

Responsible for assisting the Financial Reporting Manager with the accurate and timely completion of mutual fund financial statements (both semi-annual and audited annual reports) and Form NSAR filings with the SEC. Assists the Financial Reporting Manager and Financial Reporting/Fund Accounting Vice President with other responsibilities, such as facilitating/coordinating with the Fund?s Tax Advisor in the preparation and filing of the Fund Tax Returns, overseeing client relationships and ensuring that the work of the department is completed accurately and timely.  Supervises, trains and develops Financial Reporting Accountants and assists with the development and implementation of procedures and controls of the department.  Position requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business along with demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the financial services industry in addition to previous experience in fund accounting or public accounting serving financial services industry clients, experience with financial reporting specifically relating to financial statement preparation/review, and demonstrated knowledge of GAAP.  Click below to apply now:
