Mutual Fund Administration Specialist

PFPC is currently seeking a Mutual Fund Administration Specialist in our Fund Accounting Group. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:  Prepare and analyze the monthly expense reports for clients.  Process all expenses associated with the funds according to approved budgets.  Prepare the daily, monthly and quarterly IRS, SEC and prospectus compliance testing.  Compile and review monthly performance information.  Assist in the production of quarterly board reporting material.

 

 

Prepare monthly expense budgets, expense proformas and payable analysis.  Research and resolve expense proforma discrepancies.  Analyze expense budgets and expense payable.  Recommend expense accruals for clients.  Process bill allocations and payments. 

 

Review daily and monthly IRS, SEC and prospectus compliance testing.  Understand IRS and SEC rules.  Analyze and research compliance issues.  Prudential Funds (53 Funds)

 

Assist with the preparation of tax information, semi- annual reports to the SEC, proxies, registration statements, and year-end audit analysis schedules. 

 

Prepare monthly performance information for various clients.  Coordinate sending of performance information to various external database companies.  Provide performance information for year end and semi-annual reports and registration statements.

 



Requirements:

The ideal candidate with have 1 - 2 years experience with a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a minimum of 6 to 9  accounting credits and accounting experience.  Extensive understanding of Microsoft Excel and general knowledge of additional Microsoft software, such as Microsoft Word. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure while ensuring internal controls and procedures are followed.  Ability to manage long term projects while ensuring all deadlines are met.
