Our Client:  A $700 million Publicly Traded Company. Family type atmosphere with an excellent work/life balance. This newly created position will report directly to the Controller. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience with a combination of public and private experience in Financial services and Banking.

 

Skill Requirements: Qualitative and quantitative analysis. Self-disciplined, work well with minimal supervision. Flexible and able to handle the stress/pressure associated with multiple tasks/deadlines. Excellent communication skills are a must.  Listening, oral, written, and presentation. Problem solving/decision making. Detailed oriented.

 

Primary Responsibilities/Duties: Maintain companies? general ledgers. Maintain fixed assets sub-ledger system Review certain account reconciliations. Prepare complex account reconciliations/roll-forwards. Assists in Preparation of Board reports. Identify trends and variances from monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements. Assist in Preparation of Annual budget. Assist in Federal Reserve and OCC regulatory reports. Assist in development and maintenance of proper internal controls. Assist in audit and tax preparation.

 

Technical Knowledge Requirements: Generally accepted accounting principals Excel

 

Education/Experience: Bachelor?s degree in accounting. 2 years accounting experience or 10+ years of general ledger accounting.
