North East Markets Controller Role:

Job Responsibilities:
??Financial Reporting and Analysis- Reports, analyzes and interprets periodic financial data to regional Markets Channel leadership accurately and on a timely basis.? Provides commentary and insights on performance against plan and prior year with emphasis on implementing procedural controls to achieve optimal performance.
??Financial Planning and Forecasting - Prepares the fiscal yearly plan by analyzing historical data in conjunction with future growth plans and desired firm metrics.? Inputs plan into firm-wide database. Prepares periodic forecasts for national and regional management.
??Business Advisor - Provides accurate
and timely information to client and continuously seeks to enhance the service provided to the client. Supports internal controls and procedures to manage costs and maximize profitability.
??Operational Excellence - Supports the national Markets management team to assist in benchmarking, financial reporting and implementing best practices nationally and supports Region Managing Partner within Northeast region.
??Client Service - Assists in assessing and addressing the needs of the client and adapting processes, particularly as it relates to the financial reporting process.? Provides a value-added service by contributing financial and operational insight and implementing solutions to client.? Maintains strong and trusting relationship with client.
??Teaming - Coaches others in the firm in interpreting financial data. Works closely with other Shared Services channels and client service personnel on several inter-related processes.?
??Region 10 - Works closely with India finance staff to develop
their competencies in transaction processing, investigation of financial transactions, standard reporting, MD&A, analysis, data management/data integrity, and process improvements.?? Participates in goal-setting, feedback, and performance review processes on a timely basis.
??Accounting Policies - Ensures that the firm's accounting policies and practices (and GAAP) are followed.

Qualifications:?
??4-6 years of relevant experience at related level.? Bachelor degree preferred
??Advanced computer application skills in excel (pivot tables, vlook ups) and Powerpoint (charts/graphs)
??Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
??Ability to work in a team environment is critical
??Knowledge of SAP, Essbase/Hyperion and firm financial processes is strongly preferred
??Limited Travel
