Operations Analyst - Finance

Parker & Lynch is assisting a manufacturing plant located near Garner, NC is the search for an Operations Analyst - Finance.  This position will provide ongoing financial, budget and forecasting support to manufacturing and logistics.  Examine financial impact to support rational and valid business and management decisions as it pertains to cost containment and rationalization, process streamlining and enhanced business flows.  Formulate, maintain and update accounting rules and operational policies and procedures.  Manage the budgeting and forecasting for raw materials and finished goods inventories.  Manage financial impact and interdepartmental coordination of physical inventories.  Act as liaison between corporate finance and operations.

 

Requirements include: Three to five years? operational accounting and analysis experience in a manufacturing environment, with a good understanding of product costing, and business flow of integrated manufacturing and distribution functions.  Working knowledge of Process Management.  Proven experience in extracting, summarizing and presenting financial information.  Proven experience leading projects on time and within budget.  Four-year degree in related discipline.
