Operations - Financial Auditor

Major Duties and Functions Include:
As a Financial Operations Auditor, you will engage MetLife?s core business teams in assessing the effectiveness of operating controls, identifying potential risks, concluding on the accuracy of financial assertions, and working in partnership with line management to develop operational improvements.
Develop moderate to complex audit strategies and conduct comprehensive process audits using department guidelines and state of the art electronic testing techniques that provides management with an independent appraisal of internal controls.
Coordinate and compile business process documentation, and risk assessments with related analysis. What You Need to Succeed:


Requires a complete understanding and knowledge of audit, accounting and finance principles.
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience ? 6+ years of auditing/accounting experience.  CPA, FMLI, CISA or CIA certifications, a definite plus. 
Willingness to travel up to 25%-30% of the time.
Public accounting OR Insurance experience - a significant plus.
PASSION for managing the auditing process - full lifecycle.
