Operations Program Specialist

Job Description:
Manages change or add requests to Red Hat's order entry systems configuration regarding promotional codes, program codes, and pricing configurations.Manages day to day operations related to the creation, management and administration of items, item attributes, item bundles, and price lists.Responsible for processing authorized Channel Partner requests for subscription entitlements (registration codes).Investigates and resolves complex customer complaints associated with item set up related to Bills of Materials (BOMs), Stock-Keeping-Units (SKUs), Red Hat Network (RHN) Channel Access Mappings, or Channel Partner order fulfillment. Participates in the development of operating goals and objectives for the unit; recommends, implements and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations. Facilitates interaction between Sales, Marketing, Order Entry, Customer Service, Fulfillment House, and Finance regarding program code, promotional code, or item set-up. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Experience with order entry systems is required.Experience in fulfillment and logistics, specifically with item creation and inventory management is a plus.Specific experience with Oracle Order Management and Inventory Management capabilities a plus. Bachelor's degree.Knowledge of procedures and documentation for the processing and placement of customer orders. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to foster cooperative work environment. Ability to make administrative /procedural decisions and judgments. Knowledge of general accounting principles. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
