OutlookSoft Consultant Position

The Consultant is responsible for the design, build, and knowledge transfer of OutlookSoft's Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solution within the customer's operating environment.

 

This includes design preparation, application development, application testing, and knowledge transfer to the customer and deployment support resulting in a successful implementation of the product to meet the customer's business needs.  In addition, the Consultant can be involved in various stages of a project life cycle.  This can include pre-sales through implementation.

 

Qualifications:BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent level of education and experienceExperience directly or indirectly with one or more of the following business processes: budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, operational reporting and scorecarding.5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience.1+ years of user or implementation experience with the OutlookSoft, Hyperion, Cognos, or other OLAP based products.Demonstrated leadership roles over teams or projects that span across an organization's departments.Excellent oral and written skills which allow for the ability to translate between information technology and business solutions.Ability to engage various levels of stakeholders in the customer's organization and communicate the necessary level of knowledge of the solutions being built.Demonstrated history of attributes consistent with the Aster Group culture: can-do attitude, customer-focused, flexible, proactive, quality-conscious, responsive, team-oriented.

 

Required Skills:Ability to travel independently throughout the country to meet with employees, customers, and partners.  Travel up to 80% but relocation is not required.Ability to excel in a team environment and consistently deliver on assigned application development tasks.  Ability to work under stress, with interruptions, as well as with conflicting needs and tight deadlines.Ability to problem solve and answer questions.Ability to work with general instructions on assignments.

 

Compensation and Benefits:Compensation is commensurate with experience ranging from $100,000 to $140,000 Excellent Blue Cross Blue Shield POS Health and Dental Insurance free to employee.  Additional coverage for family is provided at minimal pre-tax cost to employee SIMPLE IRA Retirement Plan - Aster Group contributes a percentage regardless of whether the employee contributes or not.  Employees may also contribute.
