Part-time A/P Assistant

Seeking administrative assistant with focus in Accounting for Electronics Company near downtown San Jose.  This is a part-time position for approximately 16 hours a week.  Flexible schedule but prefer two full time days or a few hours each day, Monday thru Friday.  Student applicants welcome.


Responsibilities include:

 Receive and verify invoices for accuracy; obtain payment approvalsEnter and post invoices to the accounting systemResearch and resolve outstanding accounts payableMaintain accurate accounting filesMake calls for Accounts ReceivablesOther duties as assigned
 

Requirements include:

 1 ?2 years prior administrative/clerical experienceExcellent writing and communications skillsComfortable with basic computer software (ie: Microsoft Office).  Peachtree experience a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
