Job Description: Incredible position available in the advertising industry. Santa Monica Ad Agency has an urgent need for a part-time Bookkeeper with 3-5 years hands-on experience in sales. This position is part-time (20-25 hours per week). Bookkeeper will perform bookkeeping and accounting duties as assigned and directed under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Operations. QuickBooks (at least 2004, 2006 preferred) and Excel (intermediate skills) a must. Experience in Clients & Profits (C&P) a definite plus. Duties include: A/P, A/R, billing, generating reports, working closely with CPA and payroll service, check runs, bank reconciliation and update financial spreadsheets in Excel. Bookkeeper also performs general clerical work such as maintaining files and records, and preparing bank deposits. Some administrative support required, and accuracy is a must.
