Payment Processing Servicing Manager

General Description:
This position supervises or coordinates activities of personnel involved in performing internal operations in the Operational Accounting Department, including the processing of payments, reconciliation of accounts, interest and cost adjustments and expensing and recovering court costs.

Responsibilities:

Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.

? Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.


? Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government and customer policies, procedures and regulations.

? Establishes procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral and securities to ensure safekeeping.

Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of department operations, including compiling, storing and retrieving production data for reports.

? Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls.

? Devises forms and prepares manuals required to guide activities of personnel who post data and maintain databases.

Sets up classification of accounts and organizes accounting procedures and computer hardware and software systems.

? Adapts conventional accounting and recordkeeping functions to computerized accounting processes.

? Directs the maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.

Works with management in strategic planning and new product development.

? Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.

? Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, inventory, property and other related procedures and controls.

Interact with external parties as necessary to resolve issues that may arise.

Experience:

5+ years experience in financial services in a high volume transaction business. Experience managing accounting/clerical staff.

Education:

? Bachelor Degree or comparable work experience
