Payroll Accountant



Key Responsibilities:



Prepare payroll journal entry

Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations

Maintain for tax balancing spreadsheet

Do payroll maintenance entry into Lawson

Reconcile and Transmit 401K deduction to third party vendor

Prepare W2Cs as required

Assist with research to resolve staff issues

Other payroll related tasks as assigned



Required Skills:



Experience with Payroll software essential (Lawson or ADP ideal)

Microsoft Word and Excel experience required

Must have very strong attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills

Bachelors degree, preferably in Accounting

2-3 years payroll/accounting experience
