Payroll/Benefits Manager

Position Summary

 

The Payroll and Benefits Manager will be an integral part of the team involved in a variety of areas within the Finance, Administration and Human Resources departments. The ideal candidate is a team player with the ability and drive to make an impact, who thrives in a collegial, fun and fast-paced environment.

 

 Position Description / Responsibilities

Payroll, Benefits and Administration

(1)  Semi-monthly Payroll processing for whole company using ADP

(2)  Year-end tax payroll processing (Compensation Stmts, W-2s, 1099s, etc)

(3)  Incentives Management and Tracking ? Commissions and Bonuses

(4)  Benefits Administration and processing ? enrollments, terms, changes, COBRA, etc

(5)  Assist HR with benefits communication, issues and education internally with employees.

(6)  Involvement in annual benefits renewal analysis and processes

(7)  Responsible for management, input and maintenance of HRIS system

(8)  Other tasks as needed by CFO, HR Director, and Accounting Manager.

 

Education

B.A. or B.S. degree in Business or other discipline.

10+ yrs business experience focusing on payroll and benefits a must. Thorough experience with ADP payroll as well as other systems (ex. Ceridian, Paychex, etc).  Experience in a service-based business a huge plus. Specialized Knowledge

Must have strong systems skills and be proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel. 

Must be articulate and possess excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, good planning and prioritization skills. Must have detail-oriented focus.  Ability to perform under pressure and deadlines a must.  Team player with strong customer service skills.
