Our client is a multi-billion dollar manufacturer based in Norwalk.  They have asked for our assistance in recruiting a Payroll Manager.

 

The selected candidate will:

? Manage and supervise payroll team and oversee the execution of the payroll processes to ensure accurate payments to employees, benefit providers and governmental agencies.

?Manage, mentor and develop payroll staff to effectively process payroll.

? Evaluate, develop and implement appropriate payroll policies and controls, and ensure that payroll-related internal controls and processes are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, federal, and state regulations.

?Direct the interfaces between ERP system and external applications.

?Knowledge of multi-state payroll, multi-entity payrolls, federal and state wage and labor laws; employee benefit plans, employment practices, and payroll taxes.

 

Prospective candidates will possess the following skills/experiences:

?10+ years of experience managing a Payroll function within a multi-billion dollar company.

? Solid financial systems skills and experience with ADP Payroll system.

? BS in Accounting or related discipline is required.
