Payroll Specialist

A non-profit organization located Downtown is looking to hire a Payroll Specialist. The core responsibilities will be to process payroll for 250 employees through Paychex, ensure appropriate department allocation & account coding, and calculate special payments. Other duties include tracking deductions for 401-K and insurance and execute bi-weekly cash transfer to benefits account, track vacation, sick, & holiday time, process FICA taxes for group term life insurance, prepare month end journal entries, file 1099?s, and assist with month end and audits.
