Payroll Specialist I

SUMMARY

 

This position supports all aspects of the payroll function to include preparing, documenting, processing and distributing payroll checks.  Works on a day-to day basis with other payroll staff, accounting/finance team, outside representatives, and all levels of employees to include management.  Errors while performing in this position may cause delays in federal, state and local reporting, as well as timely payments to employees.  Duties are mildly complex and are performed under direct supervision.
