Our client, a Labor union and health and welfare pension fund is looking for a Payroll Compliance Auditor to join their team. Payroll Compliance Auditor Job Description • Conducts on-site payroll compliance audits of union shops to verify that they are in compliance with current contracts and that the union and funds are being properly compensated for membership. • Prepares detailed correspondence (internal and external), detailing audit deficiencies. • Assists the verification department in balancing and resolving of monthly collection problems with union shops. • Assists management and fund counsel in reconciliation and collection of outstanding balances from union shops. • Functions as back up for the accounting department. Including but not limited to monthly bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and accounts receivable and payable.
