Our client, a fast growing Boston REIT is looking to hire a Portfolio Accountant who will report to the Corporate Controller. This is a wonderful way to leave public and grow your career. In this role you will:

 

 Assist in the preparation of all SEC filings.

? Act as a resource to third-party accountants in relevant accounting policies, procedures and systems including: cash collections and disbursements, accounts receivable monitoring, annual budget preparation, intercom any accounting and cash forecasting.

? Review monthly and quarterly third-party property management reports to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

? Assist in the annual business planning and budgeting process.

? Monitor REIT compliance and debt compliance at the property level..

? Assist in the accounting for acquisitions and sale of properties. 

 

 REQUIREMENTS

? Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.

? Must have 3+ years of experience in a Public Accounting firm with SEC experience.

? Real Estate client base.

? Proven organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet and enforce established deadlines.

? Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 

Salary range is from $50,000 to $70,000 per year depending on experience
