Manage a team of Credit Officers and Analysts that structure, analyze, and approve or recommend for approval, credit requests ranging normally from $2MM to $50MM+.? Identify and refer cross-marketing opportunities.? Manage assigned portfolio of large and complex relationships.? Manage the credit application pipeline to deliver timely and sound credit decisions within established turn time standards, and track performance metrics of Credit Officers.? Actively participate in structuring and presenting loan proposals to Risk Management and applicants, as appropriate.? Review loan documentation and participate in execution of loan documentation, as required.? Manage the group to work effectively and constructively with members of Risk Management, Middle Market Business/Service Organization, Legal Department and Product Specialists in order to optimize the delivery of credit products, exercise prudent risk management and achieve bank profit hurdles.? Assist in conjunction with Credit Officers, Relationship Manager, Service Officers, and product personnel customer service issues.? Advise and consult with senior credit and business management to formulate new credit policies, products and programs to address our customer base, and to address competitive, economic and other relevant factors.? Recommend credit authority levels for Credit Officers and evaluate their risk assessment skills and credit judgment on a continuous basis.? Develop and coach team to strengthen credit and risk management resources.? Monitor, measure and be accountable for the team's performance related to credit administration tasks including but not limited to site visits, covenant compliance, borrowing base review, interim financial statement review, overdraft and account usage related to borrowers, and periodic collateral checks.? Insure that underwriting and credit administration practices are in compliance with Citibank policy.? Participate in maximizing cost effectiveness and efficiency through the continuous development of process improvements.? Review and monitor adversely classified borrowers as appropriate, and develop and implement remedial strategies and actions.? Interface with both internal and external auditors during on-going monitoring programs and periodic reviews and be responsible for achieving satisfactory audit evaluations for areas of responsibility.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) required or equivalent work experience.? Minimum of 7 years experience in Middle Market Lending and be eligible for a credit initial.? Formal credit training from Citibank or other recognized financial institution.? Knowledge of credit product set for borrower's with annual revenues of $20MM to $500MM, including exposure to syndication/multi-bank transactions, FX, Trade and Derivative.? Demonstrated sound credit judgment and possess high level of integrity.? Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage assigned team, make difficult or unpopular credit decisions and interact with internal and external customers, Senior Business and Risk Management personal, peers and subordinates.? The ability to balance risk management with revenue growth, while adhering to approved risk parameters.? Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.? Must be organized with the ability to manage an active pipeline and portfolio administration responsibilities.? Proficiency in use of computer software programs including Word, Excel, etc. and internal bank systems and platforms. Possess excellent credit, analytical and risk assessment skills.? Ability to solve and negotiate acceptable solutions to complex credit and loan structuring issues.? Proficiency with relevant legal, lender liability, regulatory, tax and compliance issues related to risk.? Proficiency in commercial credit remedial management practices.? Strong people management skills including ability to effectively allocate and manage personnel resources provide coaching to improve employee performance and be a team player.? High likelihood that the individual will be eligible for a Senior Credit Officer Initial at a future date.
