Pricing & Collections Administrator

Brokers Worldwide is a full service international mail distribution company, whose specialty is distributing books, magazines, journals, catalogs, promotional mail, invoices, and parcels anywhere in the world. We serve a diverse customer base including associations, universities, publishers, government agencies, financial institutions, catalogers, and major corporations nationwide.

 

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Pricing and Collections Administrator in our Folcroft, PA location.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Maintain postage rates and any other rates affecting postage (i.e. linehaul, discounts) in Postage Rates and Routings program.Answer mail and telephone inquiries regarding rates, routing, and procedures.Work with management and vendors when new pricing is received.Coordinate postage rate changes in all programs and all offices.Contact vendors directly for special quotes or information.Work with management to complete pricing quote requests from the sales team in a timely manner.Confer with customers by telephone or email to determine reasons for overdue payments and to review the terms of sales, service, or credit contracts. Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment. Locate and monitor overdue accounts, using computers and a variety of automated systems. Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes and purging the records of deceased customers. Sort and file correspondence, and perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and writing reports. Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail, telephone, or email in order to solicit payment. Maintain active records of all postage rates for historical data.Other duties or projects as assigned

REPORTS TO:  This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY: 

 

1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.  In addition, PC skills and a strong working knowledge of MS Office applications are essential.

3. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.  The candidate will also be required to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently and operate well in a team-oriented environment.
