Product Controller - REPOS

Our client, a Global investment bank, is in search of a Product Controller for the Repo trading desk. This person will be responsible for the reconciliation between front office spreadsheets and the back office P/L systems. This reconciliation pertains to all P/L activity such as, valuation of positions, cash balances, funding, and provisions. These responsibilities require a thorough understanding of the operations, front office and financial control departments. This person will analyze, explain and validate P/L according to market moves, new trades and other influences. This role will validate, recommend and report all provisions on the books to ensure accurate P/L reporting.

Qualified candidates will have an accounting background in the financial services sector and a working knowledge of repos. 2+ years of audit in public accounting is preferred but not required. Advanced Excel skills are required, including macros, pivot tables and v-lookups.
