Position Responsibilities
 Performs budget preparation including estimate at complete information on Department of Defense contracts
 Develops work breakdown structures
 Tracks and monitors project costs, sales, and earnings and provides periodic variance analysis and month/year-end close reporting and monitoring
 Working capital monitoring and analysis, program financial forecasting and contract closeouts
 Partner with the director providing guidance and information required to make key business decisions.
 Financial leadership for product family with annual revenue of $50M+.
 Ensure integrity and accuracy of accounting records in compliance with US GAAP regulatory/tax requirements, and Force Protection Industries, Inc. accounting policies.
 Ensure proper documentation of accounting transactions is maintained for audit purposes and to satisfy internal control requirements.
 Financial planning and analysis to provide value added input to plant and business leadership.
 Advise business leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance.
 Ensure timely and accurate reporting including expense tracking, variance analysis, cost/material productivity
 Drive actions to achieve planned cost productivity and working capital improvements.
 Implement process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality, and enhance information provided to leadership for business decisions.
 Set schedule and priorities for plant finance staff in support of key business process.
 Control capital spending requirements through both planning and tracking.
 Support financial analysis of new/existing business opportunities for leadership team.



Position Requirements
 Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
 CPA/CMA and/or MBA preferred.
 Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
 Government Accounting experience preferred.
 SOX experience preferred.
 Knowledge of Federal/Department of Defense contracts and practices desired.
 Minimum 5 years experience directly related to working in a manufacturing environment.
 Preferably 5 years experience in business analysis and financial planning analysis.
