Project Accountant/Program Control Analyst

L-3 Communications Titan Group, Intelligence Solutions Division has an opening for a Project Accountant/Program Control Analyst.

 

Must be able to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance and must meet the requirements of DCID 6/4.

 

Job Description:

The position will provide project control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within the Intelligence Solutions Division. This position will perform financial management and accounting for various Cost Plus, Fixed Price, and T&M contracts. Specific responsibilities include: creating and maintaining project budgets; performing profitability analysis; creating EAC's; running cost reports from Cost Point and Impromptu; reviewing and approving invoices; ensuring revenue is accurate; analyzing unbilled receivables; assisting as needed with collections; accruing subcontractor and material costs; preparing preliminary cost estimates for proposals and order modifications; working with subcontractors to obtain valid forecast information. Must understand government contracts in sufficient detail to resolve problems and recommend solutions to Program Managers. This position will act as a liaison amongest accounting department, contracts department, and division project staff. Must be able to work independently on multiple projects and be able to work under deadlines.


 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Education: BS/BA degree and 5 years experience in finance, project control, and government contracting; a good understanding of government contract financial management; an understanding of overhead rate structures; detail oriented; strong organizational and communications skills; excellent Excel skills; experience with Costpoint accounting system.
