Summary
Responsible for the preparation or overseeing of the preparation of monthly billings, data entry and review of various project setup and project budget information.

General Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Responsible for reviewing the setup of projects and budgets in project accounting system.
2. Prepare monthly billings.
3. Review and process employee timesheets.
4. Analyze contract terms and assist project managers with budgeting and billing issues.
5. Proficient with 10-key, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
6. Setup billing schedules for new projects.
7. Generates and analyzes various project management reports.
8. Maintenance of accounts receivable records including cash application.
9. Review and processing of labor corrections.
10. Maintains project contract, subconsultant and certificate of insurance information.
* We are currently using Deltek Costpoint accounting software. Experience with Costpoint would be beneficial but not necessary. Please note in cover letter if you have this experience.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Normally a minimum of 3 or more years experience in accounting or project billing or cost accounting areas. Prior experience with professional service contracts helpful.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
