Project Analyst, SR - Assistant Vice President

  The Senior Project Analyst is the liaison between the stakeholders and Technology teams within the Global Client Services Line of Business.  The primary responsibility of the Sr. Project Analyst is to support multiple Implementation applications for business as usual functions as well as projects relating to these applications.


 


As a Sr Project Analyst you will be the focal point for supporting several Implementation applications to ensure a proactive production wellness program and assist in managing change.  It will be crucial to gain an understanding of how the different lines of business utilizes these application tools, implement improvements, react to defects/issues, and balance change against resources/objectives.


 


The core responsibility of this position will be to effectively manage and work with all support teams and communicate effectively to the business.  In doing so, you will need to be able to evaluate business needs, document, and execute change as defined under the project delivery framework.  You will also be a key player to suggest process improvements for the end to end production process and be engaged in key decisions.


 


Some of the key responsibilities as business owner for these applications will be acting as second level support and/or supporting second level help desk agents.  Become a subject matter expert for the applications you support and provide input for projects when asked.  Run system checks to ensure application wellness, monitor applications using various tools for usage, error reporting, process improvements, and evaluating bidirectional cross impacts for supported applications.  You will act as the liaison to users, Senior Managers, stakeholders, and Technology with information.


 


Strong leadership will be necessary to manage the end to end change control process (via focus groups) amongst the various lines of business balancing needs against resources.  This will include holding scheduled meetings to access and prioritize enhancement and/or defect requests, driving out the details of the requests and converting these into meaningful requirements.  After these requirements are coded by the development team, test plans and scripts based on the documented functionality will need to be created for the UAT process.   You will be responsible to lead the UAT process by securing key resources, managing the successful execution of the testing cycle. 


 


Communicating changes to the various stakeholders and users in a timely manner is essential as well as updating help aides and documentation to maintain historical documentation of changes.  Support training team and environments to ensure that information is up-to-date, providing users with detailed support information and allow for easy onboarding of new users.
