Our Opportunity:  Project Manager

The Project Manager position is accountable and responsible for the following:

?  Accountable for managing Paisley product implementations and upgrades for multiple simultaneous clients and ensuring a timely, efficient and successful deployment of Paisley products.

?  Owns the project from start to customer acceptance.

?  Accountable for ensuring that a quality deliverable is implemented on time and according to agreed upon specifications between Paisley and the client

?  Accountable for promoting and complying with Implementation Best Practices as part of any Paisley product implementation

?  Accountable for providing consistent and timely communication of project status to Paisley management

?  Responsible for interacting with clients and internal business partners to identify business needs and provide solutions to clients

?  Responsible for proactively offering and selling Paisley services to satisfy and retain clients

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1)  Manage software implementations in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with Paisley?s policies, best practices and procedures including:

a)  attending a pre-implementation planning meeting with the client and ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are established and timelines are set

b)  ensuring that a comprehensive project plan is created and maintained; and all project deliverables are scheduled to be delivered to the client within the agreed time frame

c)  identifying project risks, preparing contingency plans where appropriate, and communicating project risks and contingencies to all project participants and stakeholders during normal status reports or more frequently as appropriate

d)  developing specifications for use in estimating client implementation and customization costs.  Delivering the final estimate to the client and obtaining authorization from the client to proceed with the implementation

e)  identifying and securing resources, both internal and from the client, to properly staff projects.  Lead and direct these resources in executing the tasks set forth in the implementation project plans

f)  identifying material changes in scope and performing change management to assess the impact to project budgets and timelines.  Seeking client approval and acceptance of any additional costs before proceeding with implementing said changes

g)  tracking project status of, coordinating with and communicating to all Paisley project resources, including but not limited to, Development, Quality Assurance, Documentation and Training

h)  maintaining consistent and effective communication with clients utilizing Paisley approved tools and processes (e.g. Client Status Reports)

i)  overseeing the creation of the clients build and delivery of that build to the proper environment (e.g. Paisley UAT, Paisley Hosting, Client UAT, and Client Production). 

j)  assisting clients on determining the proper methods for performing their User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitating the resolution of issues found by clients during UAT

k)  assisting the clients to determine the proper method for deploying their final build into a production environment and facilitating this deployment

 

2)  Provide consultation services to clients around implementation and software Best Practices including:

a)  acquiring depth and breadth of understanding of Paisley?s products and services

b)  providing answers to client questions around how to properly use software

c)  providing guidance on proper configuration and setup of software

d)  providing guidance on proper testing of software

e)  providing guidance on proper data import practices and how to structure data within the software

 

3)  Offer clients additional value-ad services that Paisley provides including:

a)  ?selling? Paisley services, specifically individual Product Implementation Services, in order to achieve department revenue goals

b)  traveling to client sites to deliver Product Implementation Services as necessary

 

Requirements:

?  BA or BS in related field or an equivalent of education and experience.

?  PMI certification strongly preferred

?  Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Project and familiarity with Lotus Notes Collaboration and Document Management Products. 

?  Must be familiar with how to use Internet Browsers and web based applications. 

?  Five or more years of project management experience required -- preferably in managing the implementation of packaged or 3rd party vendor software. 

?  Experience with one or more of the following environments desired: Regulatory (i.e. Sarbanes-Oxley), Operational Risk Management or Corporate Audit

?  Must possess excellent communication and people interaction skills.

?  Must have good listening, problem solving and the multi-tasking skills.

?  Must be pro-active in seeking information and solutions. 

?  Must also be a fast learner and able to quickly grasp and understand complex concepts

?  Outstanding interpersonal and business communication skills

?  Always portrays a positive and constructive attitude

?  Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multiple projects at once

?  Ability to professionally handle intense and stressful situations

?  Proven creative problem-resolution experience, high attention to detail, be highly analytical and be pro-active in implementing solutions and be able to anticipate and resolve client issues

?  Experience identifying problem areas, developing and implementing improved processes

?  Working knowledge of deploying software applications

?  Familiarity with Java highly desired

?  Willingness and ability to travel as needed, approximately 25%, both nationally and internationally
