Project Manager, Finance Systems

The Project Manager, Finance Systems will play a key role in planning, deploying and implementing financial applications software to support Longs' finance business processes. Key challenges faced by this role will be leveraging internal and external resources to rapidly but, prudently implement and deploy financial application software, reengineering business processes rather than retrofitting applications to business processes is the order of the day. . This position requires knowledge of highly efficient business systems and processes, the ability to implement new ways of work that minimize manual intervention in normal business activities and facilitate management by exception. Day to day management of various project sub teams and periodic status reporting. The work guided by the Project Manager will be transitioned to the company's Finance organization for ongoing, long-term use. As such, a core responsibility of the Project Manager is to effectively partner with key stakeholders/involved parties in a variety of organizational, training and transition activities to support ongoing, long-term use of closely coupled financial systems and allied tracking and reporting mechanisms.

Qualifications & Requirements

CPA preferred or equivalent business experience.
Oracle, PeopleSoft or Lawson implementation experience.
5+ years' Finance experience.
Previous management experience.
Proven mastery of PC skills; Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, and Visio is a plus.
Outstanding time management and organizational skills; can swiftly/competently manage multiple tasks with ease and without compromise to quality of deliverables.
Deadline-oriented and highly disciplined; can easily/effectively self-manage Outstanding attention to detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
Prior retail experience preferred but not required
