Public Accounting Associate -- Start Your Career With Us

Public Accountants Goodman & Company is a regional, certified public accounting firm that delivers innovative accounting, tax, and specialized services. We are currently seeking Entry Level Public Accountants for our Newport News office.Responsibilities Include:
Conducting full scope audits for a wide range of clients in various industries
Accounting & compilation procedures through preparation of financial statements
Tax preparation for our corporate, individual, partnership, & not-for-profit clients
Communicating with Managers and Partners on engagement matters

 Requirements:
Strong GPA, 3.0 or better strongly perferred!
MUST be a Unites States Citizen or Permanent Resident
Strong interest in public accounting.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field required.
CPA Certification preferred, CPA candidates will also be considered
Superb written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent MS Office experience also required. 
Knowledge of Accounting Software Systems a PLUS!
