Public Accounting Senior/Supervisor

The successful candidate will possess established experience in public accounting, the ability to consistently provide accurate work and strong communication/organization skills.

 

Position Responsibilities:

? Management of audits - responsible for all stages of the audit - planning, fieldwork and "wrap-up".

? Execute assignments in the areas of audit, review, and compilation.

? Coordinate and review the work of others and ensure the timely completion of engagements.

? Prepare financial statements with disclosures.

? Make suggestions to improve client processes and accounting procedures.

? Train and supervise audit associates.

? Document, validate, develop tests and assess various control systems.

? Identify audit, tax and GAAP issues and oversee work of audit staff.

 

Requirements:

? Degree in Accounting.

? CPA Designation preferred.

? Four to six years in public accounting.

? Prior management experience preferred.

? Technically proficient in audit and accounting.

? Excellent problem solving and project management skills, the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, strong attention to detail, tact, and diplomacy.

? Demonstrates professional creativity in dealing with client matters and makes constructive suggestions to improve client operations.
