QA Engineer

Job Description: BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest Management and Technology Consulting companies dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.

Operating in a CMM level-3 environment the successful candidate will plan, create and execute testing at the interface level. Design, and build a QA testing solution for a large-scale financial system. Design, build, run and report on Automated interface level tests. Represent QA in Elaboration, Construction and Transition phases and well as provide QA support for ongoing maintenance and patches. Participate in code reviews. Experience with unit testing and technologies for used for unit and interface testing. Create, Analyze and Review test plans, verify bug reports and maintain system configurations used in testing. Assist in troubleshooting technical support issues. Analyze logs and recommend corrective actions. Setting up automated testing environments with re-usable test cases.


Requirements:

Qualified candidate will have BS in Computer Science/equivalent (or equivalent work experience) and the following skills:

4-7 years experience in the development/QA industry
Knowledge of Source Control Systems
Java/C# Programming
J2EE application servers such as BEA WebLogic, Tomcat or .Net solution
Writing and executing test plans and test cases
Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle
Solaris/Unix
Performance Test Analysis
Familiarity with workflow eCommerce/Financial applications
Shell scripts


Preferred Skills:
C/C++
Apache
JUnit or NUnit
RUP
Rational ClearQuest, ClearCase, ReqPro
GUI automation testing experience: at least 2 years on Web based applications
Mercury LoadRunner: at least 2 years on Web based applications.
Practical experience writing LoadRunner scripts and designing scenarios
