Job Opening:Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:
The QA Manager is primarily responsible for shrink prevention in all facilities under their control, maintaining the quality program in each facility, managing the inventory control function within their buildings and maintaining the standard credit audit programs. They control the activities of both Quality Assurance and Inventory Control team members. Dealing with external and internal customers, the QA Manager is responsible for monitoring the credit process to ensure customers receive appropriate credits for incorrect shipments where necessary in a timely fashion. A process change agent, the QA Manager is responsible for working to improve all processes as they relate to the receiving, storing and shipping of product from their buildings.

Job Responsibilities: Ensure buildings are staffed and inspectors are trained Review all pulled product documentation to determine department responsibility Review early warning report and outstanding drop date report for proper coding and rotation Liaison buyers to maintain proper QA specs Follow through on product withdrawal disposition Oversee facility audits to ensure QA functions are performed according to procedures Assist customers, vendors, and/or brokers as necessary Maintain HACCP files in accordance with government regulations

 

 

Job Requirements: Associates Degree or equivalent required 4-6 years of Quality Assurance experience Communication skills Must be able to Multi Task Problem Solving skills Must be a Team Player Technically Proficient Coaching and Developing People
