Principal goals of this position:

Develop real world, workflows and strategies for integrating NeatReceipts and QuickBooks.  Provide day-to-day technical advice on best practices for integration with QuickBooks. 



Description:

The QuickBooks Subject Matter Expert (QBSME) should have an extensive knowledge of the different versions of QuickBooks.  The candidate should also have extensive knowledge of standard small business accounting principles.  The QBSME should be able to analyze our product and provide meaningful descriptions of how to integrate NeatReceipts with QB.  This candidate must be able to produce use cases and flow charts describing the integration practices, which can then be used by software engineers to create working code.

 


Prerequisites:
At least 5 years of experience working with QuickBooks
Extensive understanding of small business accounting principles and best practices
The ability to analyze a product and produce written recommendations on best practices for integrating into QuickBooks
1 year of experience working in a software development environment
Working knowledge of the QuickBooks SDK
Experience integrating at least 1 other product into QuickBooks
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
The ability to work in an agile work environment with little formal documentation.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
4 year college/university degree Helpful skills to have:
At least 3 years of experience working in a software development group
Extensive knowledge of the QuickBooks SDK
Experience managing projects
