Whole Foods Market?s Pacific Northwest Regional Office is adding an additional Regional Financial Accountant to work in Bellevue, WA.  This position will be responsible for all accounting functions for selected stores/facilities.  He/she will partner with our Store Team Leaders, the Regional Accounting Team and store level accounting Team Members. The RFA will be responsible for the GL close of locations, troubleshooting issues, maintaining reviews for SOX compliance and other projects as assigned. 

 

Specific duties will include but are not limited to:Conducts periodic accounting close for selected Pacific Northwest stores/facilities in accordance with regional deadlinesPrepares all B/S reconciliations for selected locationsCompletes all Sarbanes Oxley compliance work as directedAssists in cost file accuracy auditsAssists in preparation and review of all facility budgets/forecastsParticipates in quarterly inventory countsPrepares regulatory/compliance reporting as neededCreate vendor charge back invoicingPerforms other duties, as assignedPerforms review of store accounting practices to ensure compliance with regional policyFinancial analysis and reporting as needed

 

Candidates should possess the following requirements:CPA preferred with two to four years accounting experienceProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelPeopleSoft experience a plusCritical eye for detail and accuracyEffective oral and written communicationAbility to work independently and partner with both internal and external team membersConfident and self-motivated personalityAbility to meet deadlines and remain in compliance with regional/corporate accounting policiesStrong organizational skills
