Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager (Can be located along?any major city on?the?East?Coast) is responsible for generating product and service revenue in the assigned region. This is a complex sale of an innovative tax software package.?This position will be responsible for selling CORPInternational, TPA, and Advance Global Provision. As part of the normal sales process, the RSM must have the ability to talk at a technical level and be able to explain to the client the value of what they are selling?? The RSM will evaluate the prospects issues/needs/problems and present the solution in the form of the software and possibly related consulting services. ?In addition to product sales, the RSM will also coordinate with the TMAS group and be responsible for identifying service opportunities.? RSM will be expected to generate targets via traditional cold calling efforts as well as through coordination with marketing, product management and D&T LLP offices and service lines.?? Building relationships with Support, Services
, Marketing, Legal and D&T LLP Offices/Slips is essential.? Ongoing collaboration with product marketing and development organizations regarding product functionality requirements, sales pipeline, and industry developments.? Coordinate all delivery and execution of RFPs.

- 5 to 7 years of general Accounting/International Tax experience.? This can be through delivery of tax/accounting services or as part of a software vendor involved in same.?
- Experience working in direct sales with a professional services organization or Tax/Accounting Software vendor is desirable.
- Excellent relationship management and teaming skills necessary to be leveraged inside and outside the firm.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills are essential.
- Highly motivated and self directed.
- Must be able to present and sell to wide range or professionals.
- Bachelors Degree in finance, accounting, computer science or related field, CPA designation would be great
.
- Candidate must currently be in territory or be willing to relocate.
- Ability to travel frequently (40 to 60% of the time).
