An International Financial Service Company is seeking a regulatory accountant to join their growing firm. The firm allows its customers to trade securities, commodities, and foreign exchange in most major currencies in 16 countries around the world. This position is a key for preparing and analyzing all securities and futures regulatory reporting for the firm.

Responsibilities:

? FOCUS report preparation.

? Customer reserve requirement (rule 15c3-3) calculations.

? Broker/dealer net capital computations (Rule 15c3-1).

? Commodities segregation calculations.

? Securities clearing rules and broker/dealer compliance procedures.

? Prepare monthly Focus reports and weekly customer reserve requirements.

? Review daily commodities segregation reports.

? Handle and NYSE and SEC reporting.

? Prepare quarterly securities counts.

Requirements:

? Bachelor?s degree or higher.

? 2 Plus years of Public Accounting in Financial Services or Regulatory experience.

? Series 27 or other regulatory certifications a plus.

? CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

? Extremely organized.

? Analytical thinker with experience in complex environments.

? Experience in the preparation of monthly financial statement analysis.

? The ability to work in a fast pace environment.

? Experience with Oracle Financials is a plus.

? Broker Dealer and/or Futures Commissions Merchant experience a plus.

? Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work without constant supervision.

? Knowledge of multi-currency accounting a plus.
