Reporting Accountant (SEC)

The Financial Accountant is responsible for assisting in the preparation of external financial reports, the preparation or verification of Investor Relations documents; the preparation of employee benefit plan financial statements and disclosures; and the oversight of certain highly complex or subjective accounting and disclosure matters. Overseeing these matters involves data analysis, accounting research, writing formal recommendations and verifying transactions. Other special projects.

Position Responsibilities
* Preparation of SEC reports (i.e. Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.)
* Preparation of various employee benefit plan financial statements
* Referencing of Investor Relations documents (i.e. Annual Report to Shareholders, Earnings Releases, etc.)

Required Degree(s), Skills and Experience
* B.A. in Accounting
* CPA
* 3-6 years of accounting/reporting experience

Preferred Degree(s), Skills and Experience
* Prior SEC and/or Public Accounting experience is preferred
