Research Assistant/ Junior Recruiter

Accounting Principals and Parker&Lynch (a division of MPS Group NYSE:MPS) is currently seeking TWO Junior Recruiters. To meet the high demand of our clients we need to fill these roles ASAP.

 

The position will essentially support the Senior Executive Recruiters and Staffing Managers in the following areas:

1. Attracting, qualifying, screening, and documenting qualified candidates for open positions.

2. Direct recruiting- through cold calls, research, networking, etc- hard to find candidates in the accounting and finance discipline.

3. Documenting and handling administrative details as relates to the placement of candidates with client companies.

4. Researching and evaluating alternative and creative ways to source candidates for open positions.

5. Administering background checks, degree verifications, and employment verifications

6. Special Projects as needed.

 

This position is unique as it does not require previous recruiting experience. You will get the opportunity to learn how to recruit and be successful in one of the fastest growing industries with a Fortune 1000 company and a nationally ranked prosperous office.

We are looking for energetic self starters that enjoy busy days and lots of contact with people. This position requires lots of phone work, networking events, and meetings with new people.

 

Requirements:Bachelors Degree from an accredited 4 year schoolProficiency in MS office and ability to learn new software quicklyInternet savvy- able to use all tools available to research and find informationAbility to excel and be successful in a fast paced, multiple priority environmentAbility to work both autonomously and in a team environmentHigh attention to detailGreat communication skills (written and oral) Must be able to cold call- it's ok if you have never done it, you just have to want to- we will train!High energy and initiative

Preferred, but not required:Previous experience in EITHER 1. a sales environment 2. an accounting role or 3. a recruiting firmPrevious cold calling experience
