Research Auditor Integrity

Dept: Office of Research Integrity
As a member of the Research Integrity team, monitors research studies and processes within the scope of the Research Integrity Office, generates post-monitoring reports, conducts special projects for the Senior Manager and other personnel (three other professional staff) in Research Integrity, initiates new projects and provides administrative assistance to the Senior Director.

Position Type: Full-Time
Education/Special Skills Required: College degree and five years previous medical research monitoring/administrative experience required. A fluent working knowledge of medical terminology required. Must have an understanding of the administrative and departmental organization of the medical center, relevant federal agencies, institutional policies and procedures for the conduct of research, the roles and responsibilities of the IRBs, and the role of Research Affairs. Must have excellent organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Clinical trials monitoring research experience a plus. Adept at working with a team, demonstrating initiative (a self-starter), and working independently. Proficient at attending to details and managing competing priorities. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast paced team environment, communicate with a wide range of individuals, and exercise independent judgment and discretion in administrative and clinical matters. Enjoys multi-tasking, assumes responsibility for general office management and projects.
