JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary purpose of this position is to monitor and report store compliance with the company?s product return policies and procedures. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:Audit store merchandise that is damaged, outdated, and recalled as well as cigarette returns for compliance to the company?s policies and procedures. Inform District Managers of stores that return saleable merchandise as damaged and outdated and/or are not preparing their returns correctly; bill stores for all instances of non-compliance as directed. Perform random outbound audits to confirm quality and accuracy of the third party returns processor scanning, sorting and locator. Assist Director of Front End Returns with aging inventory reduction by monitoring the warehouse for pallets that have remained in the racks 90 days. Act as a liaison between third party return processors (USI) and the company to identify and resolve return-related issues in a complete and timely manner.

Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.

The following qualities are helpful: Ability to work weekends and extended days on an occasional basis. Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes. Ten-key punch speed of four thousand (4,000) SPH. Typing speed of forty (40) WPM Proficiency with the Microsoft? Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).


EDUCATION:

Bachelor?s degree (BA/BS), plus three (3) years? of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
