Revenue / Accounting Manager

We are looking for an individual with a strong accounting background to assist with various daily accounting functions as well as oversee billing, contract management and revenue recognition.  Individual needs to be highly motivated, well organized and willing to assist with various accounting related functions. Responsibilities include:


 


?  Work with sales team and legal department to generate new revenue contracts.


? Determine appropriate revenue recognition for new contracts.


?  Oversee the billing department to ensure bills are generated timely and consistently with terms of contracts.


? Research and resolve contract/billing issues.


?  Assist Finance Department with monthly revenue analysis.


?  Perform periodic audits of revenue contracts.


?  Assist with accounting/finance projects on an as needed basis.


 


Individual will work with the Corporate Controller and CFO on a daily basis and will interact with various departments, including sales, legal, and accounting.  Strong verbal and written communication skills required.  Ideal candidate would have public accounting background and/or experience reviewing complex contracts.  Knowledge of software revenue recognition issues a major plus.
